MOMCON

About

What is MOMCON?

The weekend is built around a five large production main sessions (think concert) – a riveting combination of entertainment, worship and mainstage speakers. The time between main sessions is filled with workshops on a variety of topics – all related to parenting, leadership in ministry, or marriage. Attendees have a choice in workshop attendance, and also enjoy scheduled free time for relational connection, exhibit hall wandering, and personal reflection. The weekend concludes with a “prom for moms,” the theme of which is announced later in the year, but with plenty of time to pack accordingly.

At MOMCON, we set the stage and put a plan in place. We book the speakers and gather the talented experts. We give you an itinerary and pave the way for connection with moms across the globe. But we always leave room for the most meaningful part – the powerful movement of the Holy Spirit in you.

Is MOMCON for me?

Are you a mom? Then yes, MOMCON is absolutely for you. It’s for leaders who want to sync up as a team or strengthen their personal dedication and hone their skills. It’s for any mom looking for a fresh perspective, a deeper sense of community, or just a chance to be around other people doing the same hard and holy work of motherhood. You’ll go home with your abs sore from laughing and your cup full from feeling seen. So, whether you bring your people or find them there, yes, MOMCON has a seat in the ballroom with your name on it.

Redefine the way you shape motherhood.
Embark on a journey of self-discovery and experience a sense of community like never before.

We truly want this time to be a retreat for you, and if you need to bring your baby, MOMCON will have a private room where nursing moms can pump or nurse during main sessions. The main sessions will be streamed to the nursing moms room. Due to noise levels exceeding pediatrician recommended safety levels, infants are not allowed into the main sessions even with headphones. Infants up to one year are permitted into the workshops. We do ask that moms with babies sit toward the back of the workshop room and be willing to exit if their child becomes distracting to the speaker and/or fellow attendees. Children older than one year and not nursing are not allowed at MOMCON.

MOMCON does not have childcare.

Yes, any churches that see the value in training their MOPS leadership team and are able to foot the bill to send them to MOMCON, we highly encourage to do so. For talking points on how to ask your church about helping to get your leadership team to MOMCON, email service@mops.org.

We offer specific leader tracks that include Leader Lab and workshops beginning on Thursday afternoon.

MOMCON isn’t just for leaders – it’s for every mom who wants to be encouraged and equipped in their mothering, marriage, leadership and faith. At MOMCON, you’ll be able to participate in main sessions and workshops from industry experts, and you will walk away with new skills, tangible next steps, and renewed passion to embrace your mothering journey.

Your MOMCON ticket allows you admittance into the entire conference – including main sessions, workshops, the exhibit hall, and MOMCON Prom. Your MOMCON ticket does NOT cover your airfare, lodging, meals or souvenirs.

We will announce new speakers, artists and workshop leaders and topics as we add them to our line-up. Make sure to follow us on social media and check for MOMCON emails to be the first to know when we announce speakers and artists at MOMCON.

We are so grateful to the partners and sponsors that make this event possible each year. Without their support, this event would not be possible. We carefully partner with friends of MomCo each year to bring you a curation of products and organizations throughout the event.

Our main sessions are a full production, including fog, bright lights and concertlevel sound. If you’d prefer a quieter experience, we encourage you to sit towards the back of the ballroom.

We host MOMCON in different cities each year to give moms throughout the U.S. the opportunity to attend. As we consider cities, we look at how easy it is to travel to, safety, accommodations, size, food options and more. We carefully plan each detail to give you the best possible experience.

MOMCON is attended by moms from more than 20 countries and nearly every state. As an international organization, The MomCo is proud to have ministries in over 85 countries. Many of these country leaders attend MOMCON each year.

MOMCON is hosted in the fall each year. We often hold the event the week of Labor Day because the hotel rates and event costs are lower on that particular week.

Our event volunteers work with us all year to prepare for MOMCON and other events. For more information on how to join the The VolunteerCo, email volunteer@mops.org

MOMCON is an intimate experience that cannot be replicated online. With that in mind, we will not be offering an online option for this year.

We strive to keep ticket prices and hotel costs lower than other conferences because we want every mom to have the opportunity to attend. We conduct research and price analysis each year to ensure we are bringing you the best experience at the best price. We know that it is an investment to take time away from your family, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. We work with sponsors and partners to help offset event costs, which ultimately help to keep our ticket prices low.

We recommend you arrive Wednesday night or early Thursday morning because check-in opens mid-morning on Thursday. The first main session is “Leader Lab” which takes place mid-day and is designed for everyone in LeaderCo. This is a can’t miss session if you are a leader or plan to be one. We fill the afternoon with workshops and host the opening session in the evening. Friday, we will host two sessions, bookending the day, with workshops in-between. New this year, MOMCON Prom will be Friday evening! As we enter the final day, Saturday, we begin with a session, followed by workshops. Our final session will be a special event this year that you won’t want to miss. The last session will go late into the evening, so we highly recommend flying out Sunday morning.

In short, we recommend staying at the hotel Wednesday night and checking out Sunday morning.

Fly into Denver International Airport (DEN). We have discounted rates at the event center, the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, saved for you. Visit https://book.passkey.com/gt/219016398?gtid=e9103113974fd7360d352a795d72908c  to book your room. We encourage you to book your room when you purchase your ticket because our room blocks tend to sell out. The hotel is a 15-minute Lyft (typically the cheapest fare) from the airport.

The event center, the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, has a lot of restaurants and quick food options available. We also recommend making an Amazon order of snacks and quick food items to your room if you want to save on food costs.

Yes, we always have a dedicated prayer room available throughout the event.

Our discounted hotel rate is $273 per night, and that rate is available for three nights prior to the event start and three days after the event ends. We encourage you to add on some days and explore Denver!
